the project

Christmas Morn' with a total of 24 tracks, this 70 minute, instrumental compact disk is a treasury of Christmas music. A delightful recording of seasonal favorites arranged by Dan Duggan for hammered dulcimer, guitar, and fiddle, this music is a bright sparkling gem for the holiday season.

Duggan captures the special magic of Christmas day with renditions of delicate warmth and delicious sweetness. Listening to this recording, it is easy to understand how the wire-strung dulcimer derived its name from the Greek words dulce and melos, or sweet tune. With the CD version of Christmas Morn', Dan Duggan makes full use of this instrument celebrated for its beautiful sound and extended range of four full octaves.
